Mrs. Meghan Jones has been a dedicated educator in Catholic schools since 2004, specializing in math and science. She has been an integral part of Prince of Peace Catholic School since 2015, where she initially served as a 6th grade math teacher and later became the school's first math specialist. Her commitment to education and leadership led to her current role as principal, which she has held for six years.
Mrs. Jones's passion for data and scientific, methodical problem-solving defines her approach to education. Her background includes a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Dallas and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Creighton University. While originally from Houston, Texas, she spent her adolescent years on the west coast. She made her way back to Texas and has called Dallas home for over 25 years.
Recognized for her outstanding contributions, Mrs. Jones is a three-time recipient of the Work of Heart award. Her dedication extends beyond her professional life; she and her husband, Colin, are proud parents of three children, ages 24, 16, and 14. In her free time, she enjoys watching her children play sports, exercising, traveling, binge-watching TV series, indulging in ice cream, and reading books that deepen her understanding of her faith.
An avid board and card game participant, Mrs. Jones's competitive spirit is well-known among family and friends and is often evidenced at school pep rallies. She considers herself a life-long learner with an unending passion for education, often expressing a desire to continue her studies indefinitely.
