Karly Rusness

We're thrilled to introduce Mrs. Karly Rusness! While the 2024-2025 school year marks Mrs. Rusness's second year at POP, this will be her sixteenth consecutive year in education. Mrs. Rusness is a teacher-turned-counselor and holds both a B.A. in Education and M.A. in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling. 

A Minnesota native, Mrs. Rusness is a proud Texas transplant since 2008. She and her husband Ivan share a son, Cooper, and can often be found on a soccer field cheering for their favorite goalie or at a piano concert applauding their budding musician. Mrs. Rusness is an avid reader and enjoys anything outdoors, particularly on the water. Mrs. Rusness considers herself joyfully called to fuse her Catholic faith and educator heart to support staff, faculty, and students this school year.
