Evan Ray

Say hello to Ms. Evan Ray! Despite having previously lived in both Boston and West Texas (wreck 'em!), Ms. Ray is a proud Plano native and graduate of Plano West Senior High School. She holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of North Texas. Prior to education, Ms. Ray served in various communications and external affairs capacities in commercial real estate and the fine arts. Ms. Ray joined the POP family during the 2021-2022 school year.

Academic settings are both thrilling and fulfilling to Ms. Ray, and she is enthusiastic about employing her religion coursework in a community that both uplifts and encourages. As a teacher for the service and yearbook electives, Ms. Ray works with both seventh- and eighth- grade students and enjoys seeing them grow into independent thinkers and self-advocates. 

Ms. Ray is passionate about both the Texas Tech Red Raiders and San Francisco Giants, but is fairly non-discriminatory when it comes to sporting events, as you can always find her with a game on nearby. In addition to sports, Ms. Ray enjoys shopping, family time, and hanging out poolside.
