Prince of Peace Catholic School remains committed to providing an outstanding education in a safe and secure learning environment. Please know that students are always at the heart of our decisions, and we are managing this situation with the entire community in mind. Please see the important procedures below concerning this new style of learning.

Communication & Overview

Learning targets, assignments, resources, and daily expectations will be communicated to your child via Seesaw and Moodle by 4:00 p.m. each day. We realize this environment is new for students, and we are here to make the transition as seamless as possible. Our goal is for families to have time to look over the material and prepare for daily lessons a day in advance. Communication will be key during this process. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to teachers, support staff, and administrators if assistance is needed.

Students are expected to work on material throughout the week and will be provided a variety of resources to enhance the learning process. Assignments will be meaningful and coincide with existing curriculum. Teachers will be available throughout the day but will have dedicated windows of time each day to answer questions and give feedback. These “office hours” will be posted on Seesaw and Moodle. Grades will continue to be posted via RenWeb.

It is imperative that we continue to take attendance even though students are not physically present on campus. The most efficient way to do this is through Seesaw and Moodle. Your child’s homeroom teacher will post specific instructions for attendance procedures. Attendance must be submitted by 9:30 a.m. each day.
