Playground Volunteers
Families with children in grades K-5 will be required to sign up for playground duty. To ensure the safety of the students while outside during recess, each family with a student in grades K-5 will volunteer for 3 days of recess/playground duty per school year. Volunteers will sign in at the office at 11:00 a.m. and complete their duty at 12:55 p.m. A fee of $60 will be collected at registration time for each family. When each volunteer time is completed, $20 will be refunded. If all three time commitments are met, all money is refunded. A substitute list will be kept by the volunteer in charge of the program and the substitute will be paid $20 each time they come in to replace another family’s commitment.
