Prince of Peace Catholic School

Prince of Peace is a welcoming Catholic Community in Plano, Texas, living as the presence of the risen Jesus. Using God's abundant gifts, we serve through worship, education and Christian service.

Prince of Peace Catholic School is part of the Prince of Peace Catholic Community and serves Pre-K through eighth grade students. The Texas Catholic Conference Education Department, (TCCED), approved by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), accredits our school.

We are devoted to instilling strong Catholic values, fostering a life of faith and servant leadership, providing a challenging academic environment, and inspiring each student to shine to the fullest extent of his or her God-given potential.

• Prince of Peace Catholic School was founded 1991.
Spiritual. Promote and enhance all elements of faith formation.
Curriculum. To build a strong foundation of academic excellence in an environment that promotes personal, social, and moral values. Students score at the top 15 percent in Nationally standardized tests. 
• Two time recipient of the Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. We are one of 50 private schools in the nation to receive this distinction. 
Climate and Culture. To create an environment that makes Prince of Peace a positive place for all students and facilitates a trusting partnership between parents and the school. Prince of Peace Catholic School has excellent teacher and student retention.
Alumni. 92-95% of POP graduates go to Catholic High Schools, such as Jesuit, John Paul II, Ursuline, Bishop Lynch, Cistercian.
Athletics. Sports are offered for our Upper School students and Prince of Peace Catholic School is a member of the Dallas Parochial League.
Extra Curricular. Students receive experience in leadership and personal development through numerous organizations and opportunities.
