Annual Fund

As members of the Prince of Peace Catholic Community, parents dedicated hundreds of prayers, an abundance of time and talent, and thousands of dollars to our school in the 2007-2008 academic year.  This enabled the school to help "fill the gap" between what is paid in tuition and what it costs to operate the school.  Filling the gap supports our mission as Catholics to provide a quality Catholic education to a more diverse group of our Community members.

Thanks to your support, both the Annual Fund and Heart and Soul Gala exceeded their set goals.  In 2007-2008, 395 of the school's 433 families returned their Annual Fund pledge cards, which helped the school reach a 91 percent participation level.  Annual Fund contributions totaled $226,000.  As a result of the Community's support of both the Annual Fund and the Heart and Soul Gala, the school was able to not only fill the tuition gap, but build up the endowment fund, and institute a new reading program.

Information has been mailed out to our families this summer regarding the upcoming Annual Fund drive.  Headed by Bob Ingram, our Annual Fund Dads will begin our drive after school begins.  We welcome all fathers to become involved in the drive.  It is a great way for you to support the school and get to know other dads.

Your support of the Annual Fund is important to our school, because it...

·helps fill the gap between what it costs to educate the students and what is paid in tuition.

·keeps tuition at a more affordable level, allowing a more diverse group of Community     members access to a quality education within a Catholic environment

·helps retain experienced and devoted teachers.  More than half of our school's faculty has been teaching at the school five or more years.

·provides the school with the ability to qualify for grants from organizations outside the community.
